Supporting growth, embracing change.
What I like most about working here is definitely the team, the people. I get a lot of support and help from everyone, and I feel that's really important when you're at the beginning of your journey. I feel like in DNV, everybody's ideas are listened to. For example, I remember a year ago, a colleague mentioned something about an AI chatbot that it would be cool to add it to Synergi Live, and basically right now it's almost a finished product. I work with my manager right now basically on a daily basis. He gets updates about my current work process and I get feedback from him. There's a lot of opportunities to grow in DNV. We get the option to switch projects, learn new technologies all the time and I can also see a lot of inspiring people around me. The challenging thing about my role is probably also the changes. It's a benefit but also an opportunity to learn a lot. We got to switch projects quite often, so every time I had to learn the existing project, what it does, how it works, and then quite quickly get into developing new features, fixing bugs and stuff. We're working right now with Data Connect, a new project, and as part of my rotation I became a DevOps engineer, and currently I'm the only DevOps engineer in the team, which is a lot of responsibilities, but also a big opportunity for me.
